The Clyde Johnson-designed Wachesaw Plantation East is a great golf course for every skill level of golfer, a classic design inspired by parkland-style courses from the old country in Scotland. The grass berms, deep bunkers, large Carolina pines and freshwater lakes make for a memorable playing experience. Wachesaw East has a great blend of holes that a higher handicap golfer can take advantage of, while still putting the best players through a stern test.
And while the golf is great, don’t forget to stop by Wachesaw East’s popular 19th Hole restaurant option before or after your round.
The Toasted Tee Pub & Grub is located just steps away from the 10th hole and overlooks one of the largest practice facilities along the Hammock Coast Golf Trail. The pub underwent a recent renovation to give it a more modern design twist. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or a few beverages after your round of golf, the Toasted Tee has it all. From 7-11 a.m. the pub serves an outstanding breakfast menu that includes everything from a build-your-own breakfast sandwich to its popular breakfast platter.
If you can’t make it in until after the round, the pub has you covered. Toasted Tee has plenty of lunch options such as flat bread pizzas, sandwiches, and more. Make sure to try the burger paired with the Bed of Nails Brown Ale from the Hi Wire Brewing Company. Outside of the lunch options, Toasted Tee has bar snacks that you can order to split with the entire group.
Part of golf is enjoying great food and drinks after the round, and there is no better place to do that than the Toasted Tee Pub & Grub at Wachesaw Plantation East. To play this golf course on your next trip, click here.
