3 WACCAMAW GOLF TRAIL COURSES MAKE GOLF DIGEST LIST OF “BEST IN SC”

Golf Digest recently released their lists of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses” and “Best In State.” The list of top 30 in South Carolina (private and public) includes three of the courses available to vacationing golfers on the Hammock Coast Golf Trail. Caledonia, TPC Myrtle Beach and True Blue Golf Club each were included on this prestigious list that includes several of the top courses in America. Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is include in the list of America’s 100 Greatest Public where is moved up the list over twenty spots to #73. Each course requires a minimum of 45 evaluations accumulated within eight years.

Caledonia and True Blue are both nationally acclaimed designs by the late Mike Strantz, regarded by many as one of the most gifted course architects in modern America. TPC Myrtle Beach is a collaboration of Tom Fazio and Lanny Wadkins. It hosted the prestigious PGA SENIOR TOUR Championship in 2000.

The Hammock Coast Golf Trail is located between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC, along the historic Hammock Coast.
