A.C. Flora (S.C.) finished its charge to back-to-back titles in April, with all scoring golfers shooting at or under par in final-round play at True Blue to capture the 2024 Keiser University College of Golf Palmetto Championship at Tradition Golf Club, True Blue Golf Club and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
Thomas Lamar fired a 6-under 66 to lead his team’s scoring in Round 3, with Coleman Ferguson (68), Charles Cauthen (72) and Owen Atkinson (72) helping A.C. Flora finish at 16-under par for the tournament. Charlotte Latin-A (N.C.) and Chapin (S.C.) finished second and third, respectively, in the overall team standings.
Chapin’s Chase Cline (-11 for the tournament) captured individual medalist honors in a two-hole playoff over C.J. Peterson of North Raleigh Christian Academy (N.C.). With both players earning pars on the first playoff hole at True Blue’s No. 18, Cline sunk a lengthy birdie putt on No. 1 to seal the victory.
Sage Bradshaw of Hilton Head Christian Academy (S.C.), Chase Kosney of Dorman (S.C.) and Lamar rounded out the top five golfers in the overall individual standings.
