There are a lot of great golf courses along the Hammock Coast Golf Trail, but few compare to the beauty of True Blue Golf Club.
Whether it’s the wide fairways, the eye-catching par 3’s or the finishing hole that leaves golfers coming back, True Blue is a one-of-a-kind track.
Designed by Mike Strantz, True Blue opened in February 1998. Strantz’s design echos many of the characteristics of Pine Valley and Pinehurst No. 2 with an emphasis on maintaining a natural feel to the course.
The par-72 course can stretch to 7,126 and sits on the site of historic True Blue Plantation, a famed 19th-century indigo, and rice plantation. Emphasizing the natural beauty of the area, it incorporates native grasses and vegetation to maintain much of the character of the property. The course also boasts an 18-acre practice facility, home of The Steve Dresser Golf Academy.
Outside of the local market, True Blue is still considered one of the best layouts in the country. True Blue has been named one of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play by Golf Magazine, one of GolfWeek’s 2015 Best Resort Courses and Golf Digest’s Top 100 Public Courses in America.
In addition to the world-class golf, True Blue features an iconic clubhouse led by a professional pro staff and one of the best grillrooms in the area.
