Five Great Finishing Holes Along the Hammock Coast Golf Trail

The last impression of any great golf course experience stays with you for a lifetime. Here are five particularly memorable finishing holes among our Hammock Coast Golf Trail courses.
Heritage Club. Water scenically runs along the entire right side of this exciting par 5, and then cuts front of a peninsula green while posing one final challenge to your pursuit of a round-ending birdie.
River Club. This Tom Jackson design ends your day with one of the most compelling risk-reward par 5s in all of Myrtle Beach golf. The safe play is taking the long, dry route, but for the daring who want a golf memory for the ages, the green is reachable in two with a strategically placed, long drive. Your second shot over a long stretch of lake will have you sweating it out until your ball safely reaches the green.
True Blue. Like the aforementioned par 5 at River Club, this par 4 wraps left around water – but brings the added element of sand flanking its right off the tee. The green slopes toward the water, making for a tricky approach as True Blue’s trademark, blue-roofed clubhouse oversees the proceedings in the background.
TPC Myrtle Beach. Take the conservative route along the right side of this par 5, and you need to navigate two creek crossings and dramatic bunkering that guards your approach to the green from that angle. For the risk-takers, a well-struck drive down the left gives you a shot of reaching in two – so long as your ball avoids the long, watery demise that stands between you and the green.
Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. It’s the scenery of the stunning marshland setting that frames this par 4, then the scene of the clubhouse back porch audience that cheers on your approach, that makes this hole one for the ages.
