More than 860 military veterans and their guests from around the U.S. and beyond descended upon the Grand Strand golf scene recently for four days of competition and camaraderie at the 2023 GOLFBUDDY Veterans Classic.
Eighteen area golf courses, including Hammock Coast Golf Trail members River Club, True Blue, Founders Club at Pawleys Island, Litchfield Country Club and Wachesaw Plantation East, played host in May to an event built around fellowship and honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. Contested by two-person teams over 54 holes, the GOLFBUDDY Veterans Classic provides each participant three rounds of tournament golf and welcome gifts, along with the chance to win any of a host of prizes up for grabs.
