Trail Video Hole Spotlight: The Par-4 5th at Blackmoor

Gary Player’s design contribution to the Hammock Coast Golf Trail, Blackmoor Golf Club is home to a number of picturesque and challenging dogleg holes. One of them is the par-4 5th, and we’re here to take you on a guided aerial tour with suggestions on how to play it!

This is the first of several scenic doglegs at Blackmoor.

As tempting as it may be from the tee, it’s not worth trying to cut off any of this dogleg.

The play is to hit the tee shot straight at the elbow. This will give you a direct shot at the green, which is very deep and slopes from left to right.
