While many golfers immediately think of its split-fairway par 4 at No. 8 as Blackmoor’s ultimate risk/reward hole, the par 4 you encounter four holes later is another that belongs in the same conversation. Can you cut the corner here? Check out our aerial video tour of this beauty, and see what you’re up against if you do.

Hole No. 12 – Par 4
Black Tees: 366 Yards
White Tees: 342 Yards
Gold Tees: 322 Yards
Red Tees: 260 Yards
A risk/reward par 4, but unlike # 8, the risk of cutting the corner very rarely makes it worth the reward.
Hit your tee shot straight at the elbow of the dogleg. From here it is a short iron to the green for a chance at birdie.
Cutting the corner brings trees and out of bounds into play and usually results in a big number for bold golfers.
